After several years of helping folks teach their unruly pups, The Animal Scientist realized that something was missing. So many dogs exhibit "problem behaviors" due to a lack of stimulation and proper exercise. Did you know that walking a dog for 30 minutes is not exercise for him? While positive training and the ever misunderstood "socialization" is great, all of the teaching and exposure in the world cannot replace an effective wellness program. If your pup jumps, barks, pulls, chews, and is generally super "hyper', then Canine Fitness is right for you. Let The Animal Scientist's Certified Canine Fitness Trainer help you prevent problem behaviors and optimize your time spent exercising your dog. (Travel costs are included within the perimeter).
During our consultation, The Animal Scientist will evaluate your dog's overall health by taking measurements, performing a gait evaluation, and asking questions. This evaluation will take about an hour and will help determine your dog's current level of fitness, suggest future goals, and provide a wellness plan. We require clearance from your veterinarian (or ours), feel free to call for more info.
After your fitness consultation, The Animal Scientist can provide personalized, guided fitness sessions with your dog. We focus on every aspect of canine conditioning: strength, balance, cardio, mental, and flexibility exercises. Your dog will love our state of the art exercise equipment and games. Canine fitness is the perfect way to help build your relationship with your dog. Fitness also helps focus the "reactive" dog, socialize a new puppy, invigorate a senior dog, tire out the jumpy juvenile, and even get the human kids involved. Not only is canine fitness a great way to use your time efficiently and effectively, but it's also fun!
